FMW Panel X Social: Asian-American Identity in Food
After more than 80 Feast Meets West podcast episodes with inspiring chefs, restauranteurs, and creators from the Asian Food community in New York and beyond, we are hosting our first FMW live panel and social event dedicated to our listeners on March 12th! We are thrilled to announce a panel of all-star speakers and game-changers including Amelie Kang of MáLà Project, Dennis Ngo of Di An Di, Lien Lin of Bricolage, and Lucas Sin of Junzi Kitchen. Together, we will dig into the complex conversation of “Asian-American Identity in Food”. Expect questions like “How does our language need to evolve to capture the influx of new Asian restaurants and broad range of dining experiences?” and “What are your predictions and hopes for Asian food in America in the next decade?”
Following the discussion, tastings from each of our panelist restaurants will be served, along with drinks, and other treats to be announced. Attendees are encouraged to mingle and chat with our panelists, and of course, hang out with fellow Asian Food enthusiasts. Each attendee will also leave with a Feast Meets West tote filled with goodies. To make the night even more memorable, artist duri4n will be on-site with an Asian Food themed flash tattoo station!
